This photoblogging stuff has been fun but I’m closing this site to devote more time to my true love of flying RC Choppers. So I’ve sold whatever camera stuff I have to buy a new FUTABA 14MZ and a Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 V2. I may still post some aerial shots here from time to time.

2004

2004

Another year. Feels like it was a good year. A year of many things and nothing.

I think I’m taking better photos today than I was last year at this time and that I’m both more serious and more relaxed about photography. I’m at a bit of a transition point and I’m still unfocused about what I want to be doing but I don’t think I’m too far off the mark.

Something new will begin in January and I’m excited about that but I won’t say anymore about that until the time is right. That sounds so mysteriously over dramatic… oh well.

Arrive in ‘05!

A brief interlude while I wait until I can afford to have some film processed.

Happy Birthday Gayla

Today my partner of the last 11 years and counting turns 31. Where this site is concerned it’s here mostly because of her inspiration. Gayla’s excitement and exploration of both the visual and emotional has driven me to do the same.

I am always amazed by her knowledge and her passion. We’ve grown together so much and I can’t wait to see what the rest of our years together hold.

I love you Gayla.

Neoca 2s

Okay, one more Neoca shot. The vignetting is just unreal.

Neoca 2s

Probably the only photo I’ll ever post from this camera. It’s a funny little 1955 Nikon knockoff. I got it super cheap recently and learned quickly that it has problems. The biggest of the problems is that the rangefinder is totally off and the lesser being that it scratshes up the film pretty badly.

Maybe I can open it up and try to adjust the rangefinder, who knows…
