News on the book in the next day or two I hope as I wait for someone from Lulu to contact me. In other news, Gayla and I have relaunched our company site Fluffco.com after too long. We’re really happy with it now and it’s 100% new structure means it’s 1000% easier for us to update. Take a look!

In other, other news… MakingRoom will be making a reappearance soon! Exciting times. For me at least. Despite the fact that I’ve taken less than 10 photos since coming back from New York I feel more motivated recently. The act of getting one thing done has a strong effect on the perceived possibility of getting more things done — little todo-list dominoes.

I’ve never actually been a list or resolution maker but I am prone to over thinking single projects until they take on the weight of a full todo-list. And the pressure of my own demands often kills many of my projects before they even get started. I tell myself that often half of the doing is simply in starting. Just doing and working can often be the fuel for more of the same. It’s why my more successful photos (to my eye) are those where emotion and intuition have moved me to take the pictures.

Here’s to taking my own advice sometimes and to continued progress. I know I have it in me.
