Beautiful. Where was this taken?

Davin – 8 January 2006 @ 7pm

Thanks. This is taken from Wards Island beach on what was actually one of the few beautifully sunny winter days recently. On the beach, the light was just starting to dim into the late afternoon but this bank of dark cloud was making its way across the lake. That’s why the water has such a glow to it even though the sky looks so threatening.

I like the glow. This photograph has a lot of mood to it. I like it.

Really sharp, beautiful tone. I would be interested to see the same location shot on another day with different light… I bet the scene is completley different.

Great shot - you can feel the atmosphere as the storm creeps in.
