man, i like this one *a lot.* there’s just something violent and loud about the phonebook–thud!, you know? the texture in the concrete and the wet fogged bag are the perfect details. word.
I delivered phonebooks once when I was a kid. They’d get left out in the rain & people would complain. Brings back the memories.
