Well, although I never make any claims about the quality of any of my shots really, I like this one because of the play of colour and texture and also what it represents for me personally. It’s sort of a bright simple moment from a day that I got soaked to the skin taking photos in the rain.

It’s fine, you aren’t obligated to like anyone’s photography and I think it’s unlikely that someone else explaining why they happen to like a particular photo will have anything to do with how it effects you. If you think otherwise, then it would be more helpful if you were to describe what doesn’t do it for you about a particular photo.

I personally put little to no stock in anonymous critique but I think other people like to debate this sort of thing so have at it if you are interested enough.
