Very nice shot.

Brooks Ayola – 22 June 2005 @ 11pm

I always love it when I have to do a double take to figure out what I’m looking at.

Gloria – 23 June 2005 @ 7am

Marvellous shot.

milo – 23 June 2005 @ 7am

excellent!

This is just an astoundingly beautiful image. The transparent effect allowing a portion of the bottom of the puddle to show through the reflection is amazing, and that mosaic of brick leading up to it… I am left feeling ashamed of my own feeble attempts at shooting reflections! Very nice work.

So beautiful! We over at Small Spiral Notebook (quite a popular literary & arts journal) featured your photo, with a link back, as our photo of the week!
Warmly, Felicia C. Sullivan

I really like all the different aspects of the shot mixing together. Especially the old/new street elements.

Tom – 23 June 2005 @ 10pm

I guess they weren’t kidding when they said the streets were paved with gold.

if I ever get around to posting another image — THIS is my Fav of the Day — another great shot — actually, my Fav of the Month — maybe even quarter — (can you tell who’s been working too much? :-) )

Sidney – 27 June 2005 @ 10am

Wow. Nice reflection. Great composition !
Love this one.

roman – 27 June 2005 @ 10am

wow - who needs polarization filters anyway?

mark – 27 June 2005 @ 5pm

just the textures of the road itself are great, the asphalt, cobblestones, and stone sidewalks all add so much to the frame around the very clear refelction.

Jules – 27 June 2005 @ 5pm

Great shot and beautiful colors…

Ian – 28 June 2005 @ 7am

Great image - I love the way the two textures (the cobbles and the windows of the building) merge into each other.
