The colours of the photo make this a beautiful solemn shot. Great perspective. It’s interesting the difference between the colour of the concrete streetcar tracks and the asphalt.
Davin — if you ever want to sell a print of this image - let me know … I LOVE this one… just love it… it has so many elements I love — lines, shallow dof, bird, great colors, great perspective — and a total artsy feel to it (I know, that’s a bit nebulous - but I can’t quite put my finger on the wonderment of this image)… just outstanding — one of my all-time favs…
hot, davin.
I like the angle. It made me do a double take.
very good.
It’s lonely at the top.
Davin, I’ve been meaning to come back to this and comment…
It’s one of your best man - it’s like some sad lonely thing on the strings of a giant guitar that’s never played…
really nice image here. great perspective, great tonal value, minimal layout. the focus is really nice with the crisp wires and blurry background. kind of makes you feel like another bird looking at this one.
Unusual, but effective, heavenly perspective…
This image, simple as it may seem to some, I just find simply outstanding. The DoF, the colour, the film grain, the vignetting …. mmmffff :)
everyone is right. this is simply an amazing image. i would by this for my living room as well.
I’m probably the odd one out, but this photo doesn’t particularly appeal to me.
I’m curious as to what lens you’ve used, the vignetting definitely adds it’s charm to the visual experience.
Nice … that pigeon is a survivor.
I like that one little hint of snow in the corner. I might have wanted to see a bit more, but then that would have been a totally different image. I think you hit a perfect balance of graphic elegance and commentary.
Wow. One of your best. Reminds me of a zen garden for some reason…
