This is a cool shot. I especially like the newspaper clippings to the right. The composition and the horizontal lines remind me of this shot: http://www.chromasia.com/iblog/archives/0501182141_clean.php

decent shot interesting despite the old decrepid state of the building. The newspaper and the graffity are both integuing. Local chinese news paper. Ive also been wondering about the language of the graffity. Is it only symbols or are they real characters. Many look very very similar to japanese characters that I can write. (Ma)(Mu) stand out very clearly to me and an upside down (Ru) and the top. Wonder if its just a person copying the look of them

to sum up my reading of it would be rumamunoshi… but if we read it left to right as in japanese writting… it is rumamushino… both seem meaningless to me and the mistaken upside down ru makes me think this person cant understand japanese anyways.

really like this shot. seems cold both in temperature and composition in which the ‘glow’ around the graffiti stands out nicely.
