yawn!!!!…..ZZZZzzzzzzzz
Honestly Scott, I couldn’t care less if you or anyone else finds this or any other of my photos boring.
Scott, it can’t be that boring as you have actually bothered to leave a comment, unless you feel the need to fill up your day?
i posted a boring shot of leaves today as well.
out of solidarity.
i’m here for you, buddy.
Right on my dullsville comrade!
Beautiful!
I don’t know what the point of a comment section is if you cant say your true impression at the moment of viewing the photo. If you just want people to smile politely and nod approvingly even when they dont like it… then why even call this a comment section (re-name it buttkissing yes-men post). Don’t take it too critically. Jim there are a few photos that i like here and yes i am filling my day since i have free time in what for me is the morning and night time for you. Im living quite far from canada now. Jim you are completely correct though that the very act of posting a comment should always be remembered to be the compliment that it is intended to be. I was moved enough to state my impression and feeling at the time. dont get bent out of shape not everyone will like every photo.
Here’s the thing Scott, your comment is there and I stick by my response: I don’t care if you or anyone thinks one or all of my photos are boring.
Don’t try to string me this line in assuming that I want every comment to kiss my ass. My response was that I don’t care. It’s nice when people get something from one of my photos but I take them for me so in the end what someone else gets is fairly inconsequential.
What I like about having comments on my site is that occasionally I make connections with people who do share like interests or have an interesting take on the mood, subject matter, or even approach to a photo.
What some people inexplicably forget when commenting on someone’s personal site is that it’s not the same thing as sending a letter to the editor. Whether you like or dislike something is not really the point. It’s a personal space that’s been made somewhat more public by being on the internet.
Of course we all have different tastes and things effect us in a myriad of ways but when I see a photo, artwork, or whatever that I find dull I tend to just leave it as it is. I don’t get “moved” enough by subjective dullness to tell someone something is boring. That just seems silly to me.
