the image brings back memories of old days where i used to stick posters on the walls, advertising monthly competions in school and my competitors would tear them down!

North America had a past ? :)

I would have liked it if the whole of that sentence was in focus. what do you think ?

Given the large amount of blur in the picture already, I think leaving the sentance out of focus would be confusiing, as the eye would have nothing to latch onto. I think the DoF is good for this shot

i like the way the past is blurred.
I like the whole effect of the photo.

the blurring of the word past is like the past fading away. I think its actually really deep imagery.
