question: how are you feeling about kinja? personally i like my options when i hit your list. is it much work? i’ll put a vote in for keeping it up, and perhaps might employ it myself.

Well, frankly, I don’t really use Kinja. I set up an account as a stop-gap because I wanted to have a links page but didn’t have the time to set it up. For actually tracking new posts on my favourite sites I use a feedreader (FeedDemon).

Kinja has some technical issues (it is in beta I know) like not getting results from all the sites in my favourites list and also not using RSS (it seems) even when the sites have valid files.

Eventually I’ll do a redesign here and will probably remove the Kinja link in favour of an actual links page.

i like this shot very much. it looks old, probably because the subject is old.

thanks for this one, it’s very nice. i’m waiting for cooler weather so i can go explore and take some photos. but i’m in arizona, so that will most likely be months from now.

Is this the same location that Sam had posted some of photos of a few weeks ago? If so, this is an entirely different feel to the place and is not what I would have expected. I love how all the signs try to delicately avoid actually crossing the line of the old roof, while at the same time clustering around it. The sense I get from this image is that a house parked there too long, got up and left and then the signs filtered in to not allow it to happen again. :)
