Canon AE-1
wow. nice damn shot.
What an amazing photo, i’m loving-up the matte texture on the window, and the deeb blue reflection in the window on the LHS. Superb!
I check lowresolution quite frequently - but as of late, I havn’t been able to see the pictures. It’s only when I open the featured photograph in a new window, and then return to the website that it shows, otherwise I just see that red error cross you get when an image doesn’t open. This may be a problem my end, although as I say the pictures worked before … any ideas?
Also - are using an AE-1, or an AE-1 Program? I only ask because you manage to use such a low DoF in so many pictures, but I thought aperture wasn’t controllable manually with the AE-1? Could easily be mistaken there though :)
Great picture.
Thanks Alastair
I have an AE-1. You can definitely set the aperture manually on the AE-1 — it has shutter-priority auto exposure but I only use mine in full manual mode. It also has a depth-of-field preview button which is handy.
lovely image Davin, it almost looks like a painting with the reflection. it evokes a feeling of being in a remote part of a desert
Strong composition with blue and red hues are always striking to me. Rusted old trucks make for interesting subjects. There is an old truck up the street from me that I should back to sometime. I shot some B&W images of it a few years ago but haven’t taken the opportunity to shoot it in color.
I’m loving it — the Optima rules! — I have about 10 rolls to run through — as soon as I finish my b&w project –
I love the perspective of this shot — the sky in the background is a real plus — your usual grade A stuff… nice job!
ditto.
the unusual perspective is wonderful as are the colors and reflections. very nice work. ;-)
nice shot. nice pallette. i agree with jim about the desert thing!
Davin, great picture(s)! The colors are fantastic and the subject matter is so today. Your Fluff sight is also a place where I will be visiting often.
Sorry Davin, I meant to right “Fluffco”.
