Got back my first roll from the Yashica Electro 35 G and I think it will take some getting used to. I’ve actually got myself out of the rangefinder habit I think after the last 6 months or so of using an SLR solidly.
I have also been using only manual settings during that time as well so giving the trust back to the Yashica’s auto is unsettling.
As well, I made the mistake of using this crappy cheap Malwart 400 film as the first roll I put through. It’s quite terrible in low light.

Punch Buggy (no punch backs)
I’m sad to report that the classic childhood game of “punchbuggy” (wherein one would punch one’s friends/siblings viciously upon the site of a VW Beetle) has been replaced by “Hummer Punch!”
This was sadly observed about fifteen minutes ago while coming home from a late lunch.
I suggest a moment of silence for the passing of this great childhood tradition.
