good one. lots of “action”…the streaked paint, the red garbage on the ground. it looks like the elements in the photo broke into a fist fight and this is the aftermath. looks like the vent took one right on the bugle :)

I like the texture and the deepness of the greys etc with the splashes of bright colour…. so pretty much what Chris said.

yep. chris said it perfectly. I’m impressed that an image of inanimate objects can looks so animate & volatile. Great eye & great find. I also thought it was interesting that the image was titled “vent”… as if the elements in the picture were indeed venting some deep frustration or aggression. I’m probably reading a bit too much into it… just thought it was interesting. :)

As the picture was loading, the upper right corner reminded me of fireworks, smoke & sparks.

I don’t love this photo myself. I was running out of images to post and really the main element I like here are those brilliant red shards in the snow — I have no idea what they are.

I will have a new batch of photos later today so hopefully I’ll have some goodies to put up here.

Plus, pretty soon Gayla and I are going to have a new site for photo galleries. But that’s “top-secret” for now.
