table winter warm

Photo taken with a Canon AE-1

I’m picking up a couple of rolls of film today which will hopefully contain some nice winter shots. I’ve been sort of scraping the barrel on the last few photos as I get pickier with myself.

Half of one of the rolls I’ll get today is my first test of the Jupiter-11 135mm lens I got for the Fed5. It’s an awkward shooting process as the lens doesn’t couple with the rangefinder visually so I have to frame the shot using this little turret-style multi viewfinder and then focus using the rangefinder viewer. It’s all made even clumsier by the cold and not really being able to wear gloves while performing this little photo ballet. We’ll see what came of it…

I find that your colours, values, and textures are consistantly stunning… but from a design attitude your composition can often feel confused. This however is excellent in every aspect.
