Photos taken with a Chajka-II (ЧАЙКА / Seagull) half-frame camera

A couple of photos from my first roll of film in the Chajka-II (ЧАЙКА-II) half-frame camera. half-frame cameras have an 18×24 format; taking portrait pictures that turn a 24 photo roll of 35mm film into a roll of 48 pictures. I was fairly disappointed with my shots and I had also assumed that they would be printed 2 per print. But they were unfortunately cropped and printed individually. I shot many of the pictures on this roll as diptychs so I had to scan the negatives for the above shots to see what I actually got.

Elsewhere… Gayla and I have 12 photos up at 28mm.org. Our gallery is called “Walls, Windows and Doors” for obvious reasons.
