Yes, 1963. This car is very carefully maintained. It’s often parked in a lot around the corner from our place. It’s the same car in the picture titled “parkdale hula” in the archives.

Yeah, I find the raw edges really appealing as well. I like getting my full photo without any of the sometimes arbitary cropping that they do at the photo place.

For a while I stopped getting my prints this way as it’s something like an extra 10 cents a print but I’m picking up 6 rolls today and I got these borders again.

The borders can be a bit of a crutch though as they can make even mundane pictures look interesting. That was the pther reason I stopped getting the prints done that way. I was woried that my prints were only good because they relied on the borders. I don’t think that’s true though since I’m really picky about which prints I’ll scan in. I think the most I’ve ever scanned from one roll has been 6 prints.

I like how the right side of the car almost looks transparent… the reflection almost blends completely into the background. It must be a very shiny car. nice. :)

Oh yeah, someone spends a lot of time on this car.

I’m pretty sure you’re right. It’s been parked out front a number of times.

This looks like the kind of car you drink cheap canned beer in the back seat with two friends, while some wild man drives you around on a cold winter night…
