when there was sun

Photos from when we went to the Jardin Botanique in Montreal in the summer. These shots of papyrus from the large pond in the Chinese garden (also seen here) show an interesting quirk that my Fed5 has; in some photos the entire shot will get a golden yellow cast. I haven’t been able to figure out the circumstances but I’m assuming it’s some sort of flare when the light hits the lens in a particular way. I’ve liked the result when it’s happened so far even though it’s quite random.
