alley swing

Photos taken with a Lomo LC-A

As there have been some people wondering where the alley swing is located (if it’s still there) it’s in the much graffitied alley just south of Queen St. West between Spadina and Augusta.

The swing is tucked in a narrow space between two buildings and was anonymously erected and open to the public for a very brief amount of time before someone had an iron gate put in place.

I must say that whoever put that swing there is a genius in my eyes and whoever put up the iron gate is officially a curmudgeon.

I just wanted to let you know that I throughly enjoyed your website, and I love it. I’m suprised you don’t get more feedback on your comments! Beautiful stuff. :) Keep it up.

Thanks Susan. I suppose I just need people actually coming to the site to get comments ;) But it’s great to get them when I do.

i’ve been skimming through your lomo shots (i’m eagerly awaiting for my very own lc-a), and i just wanted to say that your shots are awesome:) i’ll be back for more inspiration…

The LC-A is great.

It takes some getting used to but once you get used to judging distances you can get some really nice shots. I’ve never gone in for the “shoot from the hip” lomographics style myself. The LC-A’s viewfinder is quite nice to look through so I prefer composing my shots.

I’ll look out for your shots.

I really enjoyed your website ! I like your sense of the detail and some of your composition. That swing is awesome btw …

I’ll check your website often !

once again, very nice work ! I like the originality of taking a pic like that in the first place, quite smart.
