Davin-
Hello! Do you have anymore shadow shots? My friend Jenni Freidman just finished her MFA in printmaking and her entire thesis show was etchings and drawings of shadows. I wish that I had a website for her to give you, but they were beautiful…like these photos.
She did a lot of research on the shadow in art and history and her thesis statement was pretty excellent.

I am forwarding these shots to her.

But they are quite different.

I liked these shadows of trees because they looked to me like the shapes often seen in Japanese paintings of cherry blossoms.

Yes the shadows are very suggestive and I can see what you mentioned in then. At first they reminded me though of blood veins up-close.
